Simon Clear & Associates have recently secured planning permission for a 6 storey over basement commercial, retail and residential development at Cardiff Lane on Dublin South Docklands. 

The development includes: 

Construction of a new street extending from a new junction at Cardiff Lane to the existing Hanover Lane East alignment and associated road works on Hanover Street East;
The eastern block shall consist of retail/retail services and café use at ground floor and commercial offices at ground to set back 6th floor level including 6th floor terraces addressing Cardiff Lane and Hanover Street East;

The western block shall consist of ground floor commercial units and 45 no. residential units at ground to set back 6th floor level. The residential units shall comprise 4 no. 1 bedroom/ studio apartments, 27 no. 2 bedroom apartments, 6 no. 2 bedroom duplex apartments and 8 no. 3 bedroom apartments addressing Hanover Street East and new pedestrian street;


Provision of balconies addressing Hanover Street East and pedestrian link between the two blocks;
Vehicular access to basement from Hanover Street East;


Car parking, bicycle parking and changing facilities at basement level;
Public realm works external to buildings on Hanover Street East, Whitaker Square and landscaping to all external areas;

All ancillary site works and services and Commercial and retail signage.
